GOVERNANCE

The structure of the Foundation is robust and efficient whilst being flexible and slender. This model of efficiency and transparency allows us to maximize our resources for the core activities in research and service to the scientific community.

  • The Board of Directors has five members, including the President who is the legal representative of the Foundation.
  • The Scientific Director is in charge for the ordinary management, delegated to him by the Board of Directors, and coordinates the institutional activity in agreement with the President, and according to the indications and deliberations of the Board itself.
  • The Operating Office coordinates all planning and operational activities so to smooth and optimize the management of the Foundation.
  • The Foundation is adviced by a Controlling Body according to art. 2403 and following of the Italian Civil Code.

The voluntary audit of the financial statements has been entrusted to Ernst & Young for the three-year period 2019-2020-2021.
